We bought our house in the fall of 2007. My husband and I had just gotten engaged and we each owned a house. We weren't actually looking for a new house but sometimes things just happen... But we had to work fast. Thankfully, we ended up selling my husband's house the day it was listed. We put in an offer on the new house and on the day of closing, we accepted an offer on my house. Definitely meant to be! Fast forward two years and we have finally finished a massive remodel. We had NO idea it would take two years. Would we still have bought the house knowing the time and energy we would end up putting into it? Yes! It is a gorgeous house in a wonderful, family oriented subdivision. Plus we got a phenomenal deal on the house and will have it paid off in 13 years! I will continue to share before and after pictures on this blog. Today I will show you the outside. It is still a work in progress but has sure come a long way!

We have since added landscaping to the front of the house.

Unfortunalely these are the best "after" pictures that I have. We are currently in the middle of a blizzard. We have 15 inches of snow with 10 more possible overnight. Needless to say, I am not going outside to take pictures! Also, the deck has since been removed and will be replaced next summer.

Allow me to introduce my precious baby boy, William James. He was born on September 8, 2010.

He is just the most wonderful little guy and he brings us so much joy!
